Fox Gordon was founded to live the dream of producing premium wines from the Adelaide Hills that offer real integrity and beauty. The name and striking logo of Fox Gordon celebrate the wives of the original founders, namely Rachel Atkins (nee Fox) and Jane Gordon.

Situated on 150 acres of breathtaking vineyard at Kuitpo Forest in the Adelaide Hills and overlooking the world famous McLaren Vale, Fox Gordon delivers a wine experience that will be forever remembered.

Fox Gordon have always believed wine is fashion and work to that principle every day to ensure Fox Gordon delivers a wine experience that they are truly proud to call their own.The vision is for Fox Gordon to sit amongst the great brands of the world, measured by the value and enjoyment they provide.

Sam Atkins started Fox Gordon in 2000, after joining the Australian wine industry in 1990, to produce Australian wines of distinction and value. Rachel soon joined Sam in the business and, as they say in the classics, the rest is history. This husband and wife team have gone on to make some spectacular wines from the Adelaide Hills.

"Like a good book, an inspiring song or a little black dress, wine is meant to be fun and make you feel fabulous" is the philosophy Rachel Atkins believes Fox Gordon upholds. "We wanted to provide great value-for-money under a brand that would offer both integrity and beauty. Importantly, Fox Gordon was formed with a long-term view to take the time necessary to achieve our goals and dreams."

While doing this Rachel has not forgotten "the best times with wines are with friends, food, candles, music and a smile, always a smile. I do a lot of events, and the thing that strikes me every time is that all the people tasting wines are there to be in the moment, have fun and learn something new."
