Savoury with hints of vanilla and spice, and of course don't forget those Grace Cherries! very refined but do not panic, complexity will develop with time. You will struggle to cellar this (although it does cellar beautifully) as it is just so delicious, so we recommend decanting for an hour or so to really open up those flavours.

When we say that Bass Phillip's vineyards are located perfectly to produce delicious wine, we are not kidding, mountains to the North and ocean to the South, perfect conditions for long, slow ripening of grapes. Bass Phillip pride themselves on creating wine that are vibrant with fruit and considerable delicacy. if you are feeling fancy, give them a swirl in the glass or give them a decent decanting, perfectly delicious!

FROM THE WINEMAKER

"The premium pinot is selected of only the very best barrels. All of whihc are lightly toasted and extra tight grain oak. Wine stays in barrels for 14 months, when it's simply gravity decnated off lees via a spigot inserted at th ebottom of the barrel to a blending tank. No fining of any sort, or filtration before bottling."
